From May 26 to 30, Sun Chunlan, President of the International Confucian Association, visited Guizhou and visited Xiuwen China Yangming Cultural Park, Guizhou University Chinese Culture Academy, Guiyang Confucius Academy, Zunyi Conference Site, Anshun Ancient City Historical and Cultural Block and Confucian Temple, Tianlong Tunbao and other places to learn about the implementation of the "Four Major Cultural Projects" in Guizhou Province in detail, and presided over a symposium on the inheritance and development of Yangming culture and the construction of Guiyang Confucius Academy. President Sun Chunlan pointed out that Guizhou has a long history, colorful culture and excellent ecology, which are important advantages for high-quality economic and social development. Guizhou has thoroughly implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection in Guizhou, bravely shouldered the cultural mission of the new era, anchored the goal of "striving to create a vivid practice site for Xi Jinping's cultural thoughts and accelerating the construction of a colorful Guizhou cultural power province", deeply excavated and utilized characteristic cultural resources, and promoted the implementation of the "four major cultural projects" such as the key construction of red culture, the transformation and application of Yangming culture, the inheritance and promotion of ethnic culture, and the research and promotion of historical culture such as Tunbu culture, and achieved good results. Guizhou has created the Confucius Academy platform with an innovative mechanism and has carried out active exploration in promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of China's excellent traditional culture. The International Confucian Association continues to deepen its cooperation with the Confucius Academy, plans to build a training base, and give full play to its advantages in various fields such as training, education, and communication, achieving a win-win effect.
President Sun Chunlan emphasized that we must thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's cultural thoughts, seize opportunities, take advantage of the situation, earnestly implement the "two combinations", vigorously implement the "four major cultural projects", and strive to make more contributions to the construction of a cultural power. We must deeply explore the ideas of "conscience", "all things are one", "unity of knowledge and action" contained in Yangming's philosophy of mind, do a good job in the correct research, interpretation and popularization of Yangming culture, and give full play to the function of educating people with culture and enhancing cultural confidence. We must do a good job in the academic research and dissemination of Tunbu culture, stand at the height of maintaining national unity and promoting ethnic integration, and explain the great significance and contemporary value of Tunbu culture. We must deeply explore the integration of culture, tourism and technology, create cultural brands, and enable high-quality economic and social development.
