Introduction: "Asking about Longchang" is one of the public welfare courses organized and implemented by China Yangming Culture Park and Longgang Academy. The course is taught by Professor Wang Jianchu, who explains the practical significance of the philosophy of mind from the perspective of Yangming's philosophy of mind.

Introduction to the lecturer:

Professor Wang Jianchu grew up in Huzhou, Zhejiang, and studied internal combustion power in the Department of Thermophysics of Zhejiang University in 1980. In 1984, he joined the army and went to the front line of Malipo, Yunnan to participate in the self-defense counterattack against Vietnam. In 2000, he transferred to the Organization Department of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee. In 2012, he served as the vice president of the Party School of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee. In 2016, he was elected as the vice chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Social Sciences and the vice president of the Guizhou Provincial Party History Society. In 2020, according to his own application, he was transferred to the vice president of Guiyang College, focusing on the study of Yangming's philosophy of mind. He has worked as a lawyer and corporate legal consultant, and part-time as the vice president of the Confucius Academy Contemporary Social Mentality Research Institute, and served as the deputy secretary of the Zhenfeng County Party Committee and the vice president of the Party School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Currently, he is invited to serve as the Honorary Dean of Longgang Academy, the Consultant of Hong Kong Yangming Academy, the Master Supervisor of Tianjin University, the Professor of Hangzhou Socialist College, the Professor of Maotai College, the Vice President of Zhejiang Institute of Conscience Culture, the Honorary President of Zhejiang University Guizhou Alumni Association, and more than ten other social positions. In 2024, he was elected as the Director of the International Confucian Association and the Deputy Leader of the Expert Group of the Yangming Culture Professional Committee of the China Enterprise Culture Promotion Association.

Professor Wang Jianchu edited and published three volumes of the Yangming Culture Series and has more than ten national intellectual property rights. In 2017, "The Contemporary Value of Yangming's Philosophy of Mind" was rated as the first National Cadre Education and Training Course of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee.
